Our London home, comprising Armoury House and the Artillery Garden, is a unique and vibrant place and offers an unparalleled venue for corporate, private and sporting events as well as a place for members to meet, eat and relax.

Established by Royal Charter in 1537 for the “better defence of the realm”, we are still active in this role, with a surveillance and target-acquisition British Army regiment that bears our name. We are also a charity and members’ organisation.

The HAC comprises two indivisible parts: the Regiment (part of the Army Reserve), and a membership of 2,500 active and veteran personnel. It also runs two CCF contingents and ceremonial sub-units.
